My construction experience started as a carpenter’s helper in the early 1990’s building houses across Windsor and Essex County. As experience accumulated, I became lead carpenter with a very respectable custom home builder in Kingsville, ON which brewed the entreprenuial juices to journey into owning and operating my own construction and woodworking business. With being young and extremely hard working, the physical toll of the business itself, was too much to endure. This brought me to commercial sales within the construction retail business in the overhead/garage door industry which allowed me to seamlessly utilize those years of home building knowledge. I was fortunate enough to take all that accumulated experience and join Canada’s only national garage door franchise system as Director of Franchise and Business Development with locations serving most major centres across Canada. I also served as Ontario Chapter President and National Board Member with the Canadian Door Institute of Door Dealers, Manufactures and Distributors. With both these positions and vast area to manage, travel was a big component to the job and having a busy family life meant I was missing a large portion of those events. Family is very integral to who I am and has always been the driving force to my successes, so having the ability to do what I love, be the husband and father that my family needs has brought me to this new endeavor in real estate in the area I was born and raised.
